10 + 1 must-have products for a perfect turf
With the arrival of spring, the increase in temperatures and daylight hours, we are about to prepare the lawn for the summer season.
Below we will see the 10 + 1 products that must not be missing for a perfect turf.
Index
1 - Humic acids
2 - Mycorrhiza
3 - Surfactants
4 - Reseeding
5 - Starter
6 - Potting soil
7 - Fertilization
8 - Organic fertilization
9 - Mineral fertilization
10 - Fertilization with a high potassium content
10 + 1 - Antagonist fungi

The first thing to do is a cut, avoiding removing more than a third of the leaf. Subsequently, you can proceed with a slight rolling and drilling of the soil and immediately afterwards it would be an excellent action to use a liquid soil conditioner based on humic and fulvic acids mixed with mycorrhizal fungi. This combined with a surfactant and light irrigation:
The expert's recommended products for turf maintenance in spring:
1. Humic acids
2. Mycorrhiza
3. Surfactants
H2FLO or WATER PLUS
In case of moss, specific products such as Mosskade or less specific products such as Solfer Cifo can be used. After about a week, you can proceed with a light aeration of the turf. This agronomic practice is very important to remove the oldest basal leaves and lift any surface layers of undecomposed plant residues, formed during the winter (false felt).

4. Reseed
If necessary, reseeding can be carried out, using seeds suitable for different exposures (such as sunny, shaded, etc.).
The expert's recommended products:
For sunny areas:
- LANDSCAPER PRO PERFORMANCE - PROSELECT THERMAL FORCE
- MACISTE BOTTOS
- LANDSCAPER PRO SUPREME
- ROYAL GOLF PLUS
- ROYAL STRONG PLUS - ROYAL BLUE PLUS
For Shaded areas:

5. Starter
It is always a good idea to use a starter fertilizer in conjunction with a reseeding, with a high phosphorus content, to help the growth of new roots:
6. Potting Soil
and cover the seeds with a specific soil for lawns:
7. Fertilization
If the lawn does not need to be reseeded, immediately after aeration, fertilization can be done with a specific product based on Calcium and Magnesium in a maximum dose of 10/15 gr per square meter, in order to begin to "wake up" the turf and help the lawn to better overcome the stress deriving from the aeration done previously:
The expert's recommended products:
8. Organic fertilization
Subsequently, organic fertilization can be carried out to increase the fertility of the soil.
The expert's recommended products:
A granular organic can be used:
N.B. - it is important to administer an organic fertilizer also together with mineral fertilizers, or at least 4 times a year. This is because organic fertilizer improves soil fertility and also increases the assimilation of elements.
9. Mineral fertilization
When the turf begins to grow steadily and the temperatures have stabilized definitively, you can proceed with a mineral fertilizer with slow release or scheduled release:
The expert's recommended products:
10. Fertilization with a high potassium content
It is very important in the period from the end of April - May (or even the end of September - October) to administer a fertilizer with a high potassium content that will thicken the cell walls, improving resistance to stress due to hot (or cold) temperatures.
preferably using a fertilizer spreader, to avoid the risk of accumulation of fertilizer and therefore possible burns:
10 + 1. Antagonistic fungi
In this period we can also administer any bacteria, antagonistic fungi (trichodherma) and in general all those compounds that work mainly in the rhizosphere, combined with biostimulants, which help the turf from any sudden return of cold:
The expert's recommended products:
With these precautions, your lawn will be ready to face the summer season in the best possible way!
