The active ingredient in the Scalibor collar, deltamethrin, protects your dog from bites from these parasites but does not harm the health of the people who handle it. In fact, as soon as you have made your dog wear the collar it will constantly release its active ingredient, which will be distributed on the skin, depositing in the skin fat and forming a protective barrier against sandflies.

Duration of protection:

  • ticks = 6 months
  • Fleas =  4 months
  • sandfly puncture =  5 months
  • Adult mosquito repellent effect =  6 months

Apply to dogs at least one week before taking them to infested environments.
