Pergado SC Syngenta cytotropic-translaminar fungicide against downy mildew for grapevines, potatoes and horticultural crops .

Pergado SC is an innovative anti-downy mildew fungicide for vines and horticultural crops based on Mandipropamid (mandelamide). The active ingredient (Mandipropamid) is highly effective against leaf oomycetes, against which it acts by inhibiting the germination of zoospores, mycelium growth and sporulation. It also has dual activity, contact and cytotropic-translaminar, and has a high affinity for leaf and fruit waxes, with obvious advantages in terms of resistance to washout  . The use of Pergado SC in defense programs is recommended alternating with Ridomil Gold.

Crops and adversities:

• Grapevine: downy mildew (plasmopara viticola): 50 - 60 ml/hl or  0.5 - 0.6 l/ha. maximum 4 treatments/year (interval between treatments: 10-12 days).
• Eggplant tomato (open field and greenhouse): phytophthora infestans: 60 ml/hl or  0.6 l/ha.  maximum 4 treatments/year (interval between treatments: 7 days).
• Melon watermelon pumpkin (open field and greenhouse): pseudodowny mildew (pseudodowny mildew cubensis):  60ml/hl or  0.6 l/ha.  maximum 4 treatments/year (interval between treatments: 7 days).
• Zucchini (open field and greenhouse) pseudodowny mildew (pseudodowny mildew cubensis):  60ml/hl or  0.6 l/ha.  maximum 4 treatments/year (interval between treatments: 7 days).
• Potato (open field) phytophthora (phytophthora infestans): 60ml/hl or  0.6 l/ha.  maximum 6 treatments/year (interval between treatments: 7 days).
• Lettuce and lettuce, spinach and the like (open field and greenhouse) bremia (bremia lactucae),  downy mildew (parasitic downy mildew): 60 ml/hl or  0.6 l/ha. in the field: maximum 2 treatments/year with an interval of 7 days between one treatment and the next. in greenhouses: maximum 1 treatment per year.
• Fresh grasses (open field and greenhouse) downy mildew (peronospora spp.,  plasmopara crustosa): 0.6 l/ha. in the field: maximum 2 treatments/year with an interval of 7 days between one treatment and the next. in greenhouses: maximum 1 treatment per year.
• Artichoke (open field) downy mildew (bremia lactucae): 60ml/hl or  0.6 l/ha.  maximum 2 treatments/year (interval between treatments: 7 days).
• Leaf beet (open field) downy mildew (effusa downy mildew): 100 ml/hl or 0.6 l/ha.  maximum 2 treatments/year (interval between treatments: 7 days).
• Cauliflower (open field) downy mildew (downy mildew brassicae): 75 ml/hl or 0.6 l/ha.  maximum 2 treatments/year (interval between treatments: 10 days).
• Broccoli cabbage (open field) downy mildew (downy mildew brassicae): 75 ml/hl or 0.6 l/ha.  maximum 2 treatments/year (interval between treatments: 10 days).
• Radish (open field) downy mildew (downy mildew brassicae): 100 ml/hl or 0.6 l/ha. maximum 6 treatments/year (equal to 2 treatments per crop cycle with an interval of 7 days between one treatment and the next, for a total of 3 crop cycles per year).

Pergado SC is recommended for preventive applications. Initiate treatment when predisposing conditions occur.  Make sure that the equipment is clean and correctly calibrated for the type of treatment to be carried out. Fill the barrel or water tank halfway and add the product directly. Complete the filling by keeping the mixture in agitation. After application, it is good practice to clean the equipment with water and a suitable detergent.
