Armicarb Spray PFnPE is a fungicide that can also be used in organic farming that acts by contact through different mechanisms of action. By promoting the increase in pH, it increases the osmotic pressure of the leaf surfaces, creating unfavorable conditions for fungal spores. The high pH caused inactivates the enzymes necessary to solubilize and expand the cell walls and membranes of fungal spores. Potassium bicarbonate interferes with membrane activities and cellular physiology and its properties suggest a multisite mechanism of action, thus reducing the possible onset of resistance.
