Optysil Manica, a silicon-based fertilizer  for foliar application and fertigation on all crops. It increases the plant's natural defenses against abiotic stress and improves productivity.  It is an excellent product that can be used in both integrated and organic farming. Optysil contains silicon (94 g of Si in 1 liter) in a form that is directly assimilable for plants. Silicon has a fundamental function on the structure of the cell wall as it mechanically strengthens it by creating a natural mechanical barrier against various pathogenic fungi, so that the plant becomes less susceptible to diseases, helps plants retain water during drought, limits production losses caused by water shortage. The product, Based on silicon, it also contains iron (24 g/l) which promotes the production of chlorophyll, intensifies photosynthesis and the distribution of assimilates within the plant.

Optysil Manica features:

• It increases the tolerance of plants to abiotic stresses (e.g. drought).

Methods and doses of use:

Optysil, it can be applied both  foliar and fertigation . The preparation is chemically neutral, so it is miscible with the most common foliar fertilizers and with most pesticides

• Foliar application: Apply during critical periods for plant development and growth every 10–14 days. To increase your plants' resistance to periodic water deficiencies, perform at least one treatment before the expected period of water shortage, and then 2–3 treatments every 5–7 days. To improve phosphorus uptake from the soil, perform 2–3 treatments every 5–7 days.
• In fertigation:  A solution containing 0.18–0.28 l of Optysil per 1000 litres of ready-to-use nutrient solution is recommended for fertigation. In soil crops, use every 3 – 5  cycles of fertigation. In soilless crops, use several times during the growing season.
• Culture:  

1. Cereals: Number of treatments (2 - 4);  Dose ( 0.5 l/ha); Water volume (200 - 300 l/ha)
2. Tree: Number of treatments ( 2 - 6 );  Dose ( 0.5 l/ha); Water volume (500 - 1000 l/ha)
3. Horticultural: Number of treatments (2 - 5 );  Dose ( 0.5 l/ha); Water volume ( 400 - 600 l/ha)

Composition:

• Silicon oxide ( SiO2): 16.5% (200g/l)
• Iron (Fe): 2% (24 g/l)
