Popillia Japonica Trap with pheromones - Sayonara Trap

Sayonara Trap, is a pheromone trap used for mass capture of Popillia Japonica (Japanese beetle).  It has been developed to capture male and female specimens of Popillia japonica thanks to a pheromone bait and a specific attractant whose combined effect attracts insects inside the container preventing them from escaping. The particular shape in combination with the yellow-green chromotropic color increases the attractiveness to the specimens of Popillia Japonica in a completely natural way.

How to use:

The Sayonara trap can be used in two ways:

• Suspended, thanks to the special strap positioned on the upper end of the trap that allows it to be anchored
• Freely installed in the garden using a wooden support (even a broomstick). One end of the support must be inserted into the practical recess at the base of the container while the other must be planted in the ground.

Once the trap is assembled according to the instructions, remove the pheromone and attractant from the sachet. Insert into the cage and insert the latter into the hole located in the upper part of the trap. Finish by hooking the attractant into the cage. Place Sayonara Trap about 120 cm above the ground and at least 10 meters away from the plants you want to protect. The trap has an attractive capacity of about 300 m2 equal to a radius of about 15 meters around the trap. It can be used in all outdoor spaces such as gardens, parks, golf courses, swimming pools, campsites and cultivated areas in the presence of fruit trees, vines, vegetables, ornamental lawns, flower crops and potted green plants and bonsai. 

The quick opening system of the collection container allows the captured specimens to be easily emptied in a few seconds. The Sayonara Trap is non-toxic to plants and fruits in compliance with the regulations on organic cultivation. Covers the entire season (up to  12 weeks)
