The active ingredient of the natural insecticide Oikos is extracted from the seeds of the tropical plant Azadirachta indica (Neem tree).

Oikos has a systemic action, acts by direct contact and ingestion, altering the development of insects and inhibiting the formation of the main hormone involved in the control of molting.

It has a deappetizing and repellent action and has a side effect on mites.
