Oliocin Plus Bayer Insecticide Paraffinic Mineral Oil 25 L

Oliocin Plus is active against insects and mites in several ways:

• Against the eggs of many insects and mites, it prevents gaseous exchanges with the outside and interferes with the structure of the eggs.
• Towards the adult stages of insects and mites blocking their respiration

In part, it penetrates the tissues of insects, causing a secondary toxic action. 
Repellent action (prevents or disfavors the recognition of the host by the insect or mite).

In mineral oils, three main components are distinguished.

• NAPHTHENIC:    phytocompatible, but no insecticidal activity
• PARAFFIN: phytocompatible and insecticidal activity
• AROMATIC:   phytotoxic and insecticidal efficacy

In Oliocin Plus Bayer  we find the naphthenic component at 35%, paraffin at 65%, while the aromatic, phytotoxic one is 0%.

For this reason, when we talk about insecticidal mineral oil, we define the insulphonable residue, which indicates the phytotoxicity of a mineral oil, the higher the value, the lower the phytotoxicity (minimum value 95%).

Oliocin Plus Bayer is an 80% mineral oil (= 712 gr/lt) with 95% insulfonability.

It is registered on numerous crops: pome fruits, stone fruits, citrus fruits, olives, vines, nuts, persimmons, figs, kiwis and ornamentals. It is also used as an adjuvant to herbicides in many herbaceous crops.

It is particularly suitable in the fight against mealybugs or diaspids, psyllae, aphids and the wintering or spring-summer forms of mites and eryophyids.
Killing activity in winter treatments, at high dosages (25-40 lt/ha), as an adjuvant to summer treatments at low dosages.

Formulation: water-in-oil emulsion, with a high degree of insulphonability.
