Benevia 2024 Highly effective foliar insecticide against Frankliniella occidentalis (western thrips) and Drosophila suzukii (fruit fly).
Benevia 2024 is a cyantraniliprole-based insecticide effective against thrips and diptera. It belongs to the chemical family of anthranilamides and is characterized by a non-neurotoxic mechanism of action. Benevia 2024 mobilizes calcium reserves at the level of the muscular system of insects, compromising their functionality. It has ovicidal, ovo-larvicide and adulticidal activity , which varies according to the controlled parasite. It acts mainly by ingestion, but also by contact, causing paralysis and subsequent death of the insect, which occurs in a period ranging from a few hours to a few days after application, depending on the species concerned. Benevia 2024, has an excellent activity in the control of numerous insects such as moths, rhynchotes, diptera, thrips, aphids and beetles. It is equipped with an acropeta system and remarkable translaminar movement capacity. The OD (oil dispersion) formulation is specific to maximize the penetration of the active substance into the leaf and fruits, resistance to leaching and local systemic movement. It also allows perfect selectivity on the treated crops. Its characteristics are:
- High efficacy against the western thrips and Drosophila suzukii;
- New Mechanism of Action (IRAC Group 28);
- Very favorable toxicological and ecotoxicological profile: very low toxicity on mammals, high safety for the operator, low impact on non-target organisms (birds, fish, arthropods, earthworms, microorganisms);
- Excellent tool for integrated pest management strategies; Phototable and heat-stable product;
- Very favorable pre-harvest interval (1 day); Complete selectivity on the treated crops.
Composition (100 grams of product contain):
