Spotlight Plus weed killer is absorbed by foliar application and blocks the growth of susceptible weeds within a few days, causing necrosis and subsequent death. This herbicide accelerates the action of total, systemic or contact herbicides (Glyphosate) against the following weeds:

Use of Spotlight plus as a potato desiccant in pre-harvest
The product has no systemic activity, so this herbicide guarantees the absence of residues in the potato tubers and respect for its organoleptic qualities. It also improves the ripening of the skin.
- How to use: Spotlight Plus is used in pre-harvest, as a vegetation desiccant on potato crops for food use, on potatoes used for starch production and on seed potato varieties.
- When to use it: Apply Spotlight plus when the tubers are fully ripe and at the beginning of the senescence process of the crop.
- At what dose: 1 L/ha with volumes of 300-600 liters of water, wetting evenly. In special cases (such as, for example, strong vegetative development) it may be necessary to perform two repeated interventions 5-7 days apart.
Use of Spotlight Plus as a herbicide
- Shrub and tree nurseries: Use Spotlight plus in a mixture with systemic herbicides at a dose of 0.3 L/ha diluted in 300-500 litres of water.
- Vines, fruit trees, citrus fruits, hazelnuts: In autumn, for treatments against autumn grasses and dicotyledons and the births of the main winter weeds, it is recommended to use Spotlight plus at a dose of 0.3 L/ha diluted in 300-500 litres of water
- Olive tree: Spotlight plus is used as a herbicide for olive trees for cleaning pitches on medium-developed weeds. The product is recommended at a dose of 0.3 L/ha in 300-500 liters of water a week before harvesting.
- Total weeding of uncultivated areas: at a dose of 0.3 L/ha
In spring treatments, use the product mixed with systemic herbicides (glyphosate) or graminicides, preferably on weeds that are not too developed at a dosage of 0.3 L/ha.
Imipego as a Suckering Agent
Spotlight plus ensures a suckering effect thanks to its contact activity. It is recommended to use it when the suckers are not lignified and their length is about 10-15 cm.
- To control basal shoots on kiwi, citrus, olive, apple, plum and peach trees, it is recommended to use Spotlight plus at a dose of 0.3 litres per 100 litres of water, taking care to wet the vegetation to be eliminated well.
- Hazel: 0.35-0.4 litres per 100 litres of water, wetting the vegetation to be eliminated well.
- Screw: dosage 0.3 liters per 100 liters of water
