Koracid - Citrus Essential Oils that creates a hostile environment against pest attack
Koracid is a mixture of essential oils of vegetable origin obtained from the mechanical cold pressing of citrus peels. The use of vegetable oils in agriculture has been a valid and tested solution for the defense and protection of plants for many years. Koracid, used in the control of insects, performs a drying action of the cuticle of the insects. during both juvenile and adult phases, such as aphids, mealybugs, whiteflies, thrips, leafhoppers, mites.
On the other hand, against fungal diseases and bacteria, it acts by breaking the cell membrane of pathogens, causing them to dry out, avoiding damage to the plant tissue. Having a physical mechanism of action (by contact), it has the great advantage of not inducing resistance phenomena.
Koracid Composition:
- Blend of citrus essential oils in aqueous solution.
Doses and methods of use:
- Dilute 40 - 80 ml of koracid in 10 litres of water depending on the conditions found on the plant and apply taking care to spray both the lower and upper part of the leaves. Repeat the treatment every 7 - 8 days. Wait at least 3 days after the last application before harvesting.
- Vine: against powdery mildew and downy mildew = 80 ml per 10 litres of water
- Citrus fruits: against leafhoppers, thrips, mealybugs = 80 ml per 10 litres of water
- Currants, Raspberries, Blackberries, Gooseberries: against powdery mildew and leafhoppers = 80 ml per 10 litres of water
- Apple and Pear: against Scab = 40 ml per 10 litres of water
- Vegetables: against whiteflies = 40 ml per 10 litres of water
- Vegetables: against thrips and powdery mildew = 80 ml per 10 litres of water
- Peach: against powdery mildew = 60 ml per 10 litres of water
- Ornamentals: against whiteflies = 40 ml per 10 litres of water
- Ornamental: against powdery mildew = 60 ml per 10 litres of water
- Ornamental: against Thrips = 80 ml per 10 litres of water
