Blackcurrant Berry Plant

Blackcurrant sold bare-root is planted from October to April. Blackcurrant (Ribes Nigrum) owes its name to the color of the fruits, it is a more robust bush plant than the Red Currant plant. The leaves with a toothed margin carry numerous glands on the underside that secrete a penetrating odor. The plant prefers medium-textured, loose, humus-heavy, rather acidic and very fertile soils.

The plant is shipped by iocoli vivai, with a dedicated courier. Map accompanied by photo and passport certificate.
